Here's the final part of the interview with Emilie Migault. She shares her decorating ideas, her favorite spots, and connects us with wellness and decor.
Do you have a project that you dream of achieving one day?
I would love to have to decorate a hotel, but I don't yet have the notoriety that would allow me to access this kind of project. But decorating a hotel with all the different rooms would be a lot of fun for me. I don't want to create a large, sterile hotel with all the rooms based on the same concept. What I would like is a small Parisian hotel with each room having its own universe.
In your opinion, what are the benefits that decorating can bring? How can decorating improve our well-being?
This is the principle of Feng Shui, an ancient Chinese art. It advocates the idea that harmonizing the environmental energy of a place promotes the well-being, health, and prosperity of its occupants. In a world of constant change, whether economically or on a more personal scale, the home becomes a space of refuge. I am a big believer in the "nest." Let me explain: I need to feel extremely good in my own home. This is something I am committed to providing to the clients who call me.
I truly believe that the world we live in can bring a certain serenity. It's extremely important to feel at one with the place we live, that it reflects us. That's why we shouldn't impose our style on our clients. We must adapt to their tastes and desires. The home must reflect the individual and their life path. It must adapt to the sensations they seek to fulfill.

Do you have any accounts or brands you would recommend to our readers that combine wellness and decor?
When it comes to sofas, I love Marie's Corner. I also like what Maxalto and B&B Italia do.
It's important to pay attention to details on a construction site. For example, curtain rods, switches, door and furniture handles. It's these little things that give a well-finished and sophisticated project a distinctive look. I love the switches from Meljac. They're metal switches with small push buttons or water droplets that have an absolutely perfect finish and simplicity.
For door handles, furniture hardware, bathroom accessories, coat hooks, etc., "La Quincaillerie" in Paris has a very nice selection.
Rare Series
The "Série Rare" brand in the same field makes magnificent things in cast bronze with all kinds of custom patinas. We can choose much more modern black patinas, or patinas that match the finish of Meljac switches, for example. The golden patinas, a little more flashy, adapt perfectly to the Art Deco universe, and give a certain prestige to the whole. This is what I installed on one of my last projects and it is truly magnificent.
Ondyna
When it comes to faucets, I like what Ondyna does with the Cristina collection. They have fairly simple and pretty lines, and are of good quality. The prices remain very reasonable. There are also much more prestigious brands (Dornbracht, Alape for bathroom furniture, etc.) with very beautiful products, but which quickly increase the cost of a project.

When it comes to outdoor lighting, the Roger Pradier brand produces products with a beautiful design and remarkable quality.
For interior lighting, I like to offer my clients Hind Rabii products, especially the old collection, where we choose the finishes and materials. I also work a lot with Voltex, which offers all the major brands of beautifully crafted lighting.
The PH Collection brand, with whom I work a lot, offers an interesting selection of understated and refined furniture. They are very warm. We can choose the colors of the materials used (steel, wood). It's always very interesting to work with brands that are able to offer several finishes to adapt to the tones of a construction site and other materials.
When it comes to paint, Farrow & Ball, Ressource, and Little Green are some of the brands that have made their name thanks to the subtlety of their shades and the depth of their color rendering and finishes.

Do you think an object should be single-function or multifunctional, like the Aire Pegboard? What do you think of the Pegboard? Does it contribute to well-being in your decor?
I think it's a really nice idea. I always like ideas that make everyday objects look stylish. The Pegboard is simply the board I have in my DIY workshop, where all my tools are installed. I find it very interesting to reinvent objects in a designer way. Multifunctional objects are the future! Spaces are now getting smaller and smaller. I can easily see Aire's objects in a child's or adult's bedroom, in an office space, or even in a kitchen. They are beautiful, modern, and minimalist products.
