What is a Pegboard?

You didn't know the word "pegboard" before arriving here either? Don't panic, you're not alone! There's no perfect translation in French.

In concrete terms, a pegboard is a board pierced with regular holes into which pegs, hooks, shelves and accessories are inserted to organize or display objects. Its advantage: modularity . You can change the layout in a few seconds, without tools, according to your needs.
How to install a Pegboard on the wall?

We have developed a simple and invisible fixing system. There are 4 screws (minimum) to position using your Pegboard .
Multi-material screws + anchors are always supplied with the Pegboards.
What type of wall can I install a Pegboard Aire on?

Aire Pegboards can be installed on different types of walls, such as walls made of:

  • Plaster
  • Placoplatre (type BA13 or Drywall in English).
  • Concrete
  • Drink
  • and even brick walls.

It is important to properly insert the multi-material anchors before inserting your screws to ensure a secure and solid installation.
Are the fixing screws visible?

We have developed an invisible fixing system. We supply the screws and dowels. They are positioned using the Pegboard . The dowels are multi-material compatible.
Where are the products offered by Aire manufactured?

Aire is a design and manufacturing workshop. All our products and accessories are made in France , in our workshop. We are located in Paris in the 18th arrondissement at CAP 18. An industrial hotel dedicated to manufacturing in the city.
Can I use Aire accessories on another brand of pegboard?

Unfortunately, there is no standard in the pegboard world. If you are using a pegboard from another brand, there is a good chance that our accessories will not work. If you have a pegboard with exactly the same technical specifications , then it may work, but we do not guarantee it.
What are the manufacturing times for a Pegboard?

We manufacture all Aire products to order. We need 1 to 3 weeks to manufacture your Pegboard and accessories from the time of order placement , and depending on the volume of your order . Then, you should allow 2 to 7 days for shipping depending on the delivery option chosen.
What maximum weight can wall shelves support?

Our Pegboards support a maximum load of 40 kg . Beyond that, you must ensure the quality of the wall and your fixing. A standard Pegboard is attached to the wall with 4 screws. Each of the screws can support a load of 50 kg. This therefore leaves a significant safety margin.

Our stainless steel pins support 8 kg per point. Many customers use our Pegboards for book libraries . Do not hesitate to contact us to collaborate on your project. We are here to help you.

Yes, you can return your product within 30 days of shipment . All products must be returned in secure packaging and in like-new condition. Contact customer service to follow the return procedure.
