Hello everyone! Today I’m talking to you about a super cool project coming very soon. It’s a great pride for the entire Aire team to present this project, which is a big step for us! Yes! You may have guessed it if you follow us on social media, Aire is launching its pop-up shop in the heart of Paris. You’ll be able to come shop your Pegboards and favorite accessories for a week.

The shop will be held in Le Marais from Thursday, March 16 to Sunday, March 19. Aire will welcome you on site from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Opening a pop-up has been a heartfelt goal for us for a long time. It’s an opportunity to showcase many worlds around the Aire Pegboard. You’ll be able to discover all the shades, touch the products, and play with the Pegboards. It’s a chance for us to share our vision of interior decoration and modularity. And the best part: you’ll also get to meet the team and ask all your questions!

We can’t wait to show you all this, but in the meantime, here’s a little more info ;) 

The pop-up shop: A first for Aire

Yes, it’s a first for us! It’s the first time we’re organizing such an event. It’s a big project and requires a lot of organization. If any of you have already organized events, you know 🙂

The idea came to us because we really love our customers, meeting them, understanding their needs, and evolving together.

It’s a friendly moment and above all, it allows you to better know the Aire universe.

We also especially love our products; we work very hard to offer you products that are always higher quality, practical, and designed.

Opening a pop-up shop was therefore the perfect opportunity.

It’s very important for us to be able to show you our universe from a different angle than just through social media and the website.

It’s every creator’s dream to have a shop or maybe exhibit their creations! It really allows us to show you even more about the brand universe, the products, and the team.

An event in the cultural heart of Paris

For this pop-up shop project, we chose a strategic and iconic location in Paris: Le Marais. A historic district located in the heart of Paris, renowned for its rich architectural, cultural, and artistic heritage. It’s also a place associated with the design world, especially furniture design and fashion.

In the 18th century, Le Marais became a very special place as it turned into a center of the fashion industry, with many silk, lace, and ribbon manufacturers established in the area. Fashion designers and tailors of the time began experimenting with new clothing styles, using high-quality fabrics and innovative sewing techniques. Le Marais became a meeting place for fashion creators, artists, and intellectuals who exchanged ideas and collaborated to create unique works of art.

In the 20th century, Le Marais was revitalized as a center of artistic and cultural life in Paris. Many artists, designers, and architects set up workshops and galleries in the district, making it a must-visit place for creativity and innovation in design. Le Marais now houses many fashion and design stores, contemporary art galleries, museums, as well as workspaces for creators and artists.

So it was an obvious choice for us to pick this special place for the opening of our pop-up shop. A place steeped in creation, design, and history.

The Aire universe

If you’re new here and just discovering the Aire universe, here’s a quick overview.

Aire is the specialist in Pegboards. If you don’t know Pegboards, let me enlighten you a bit.

The Pegboard

The Pegboard is a modular storage solution. It’s a board pierced with regularly spaced holes (you can almost hear the engineers’ gentle voice in that sentence). The holes are used to hold pegs, hooks, wooden dowels, or shelves. These elements allow you to arrange various objects. It’s ideal for creating storage spaces in your home.

The Pegboard is a registered trademark used by the company Masonite Corporation. The Pegboard brand was first used in 1962. This perforated panel is commonly used in retail with steel rods sticking out to hold products.

At Aire, we think the Pegboard is an extraordinary object. Yes, simply ❤️. And now we want to share all the possibilities of the Pegboard with you. When you look at a perforated board, you quickly realize there are infinite combinations!

The pop-up shop

A new way to discover

This pop-up shop will allow us to highlight our new products. For example, our Pegboards on wheels or the space divider Pegboard. These are brand-new products that stand out and explore new horizons. At Aire, we love to innovate and push further. For us, Pegboards are not just storage and decoration spaces. There are many possibilities. We want to push these possibilities to their maximum and go even further. It’s also an opportunity for customers, so for you :) because it lets you imagine and can also give you decorating ideas. On top of that, you’ll have the chance to see some of our products in preview. Not bad, right?

3D printing

Yes, at Aire we also explore this possibility! 3D printing is now part of our production techniques for many accessories. Shelves, small accessories and games of all kinds, a marble run for Pegboard, and more. We have made good use of this invention called 3D printing. It supports us and is now essential, and I’d even say it’s Aire’s little extra ;).

It’s also a chance to better understand and have the opportunity to see 3D printed products in real life. I know many of you sometimes have questions about this. Here it is if you want to take a look :) But the best is to come discover for yourself at the pop-up shop what we’re capable of! You won’t be disappointed :)

Local production

Our Pegboards are produced in Paris, in the 19th arrondissement. Our workshop is hosted at Métropole 19. There are many artisans and companies there creating and manufacturing. Soaps, fabric bricks, K-Ryol, and even concrete speakers!

It’s a perfect environment that allows us to develop our creativity. We’re happy to contribute to creating local production that can’t be outsourced by nature!

Designed, conceived, and made in our workshop, Aire chose to manufacture authentic modular storage of superior quality. We chose 100% French manufacturing because we love things done well and especially those that last over time. That’s why made in France was obvious for us. It also allows us to offer you products tailored to your needs as well as custom products for every room in your home. Choosing to consume local also means supporting small businesses (like ours) and participating in local and environmental standards. It also means preserving France’s cultural heritage, a true star known worldwide.

An event not to be missed

Here’s a quick recap. You can’t say you didn’t see it coming ;) The pop-up shop will be held: in Le Marais from Thursday, March 16 to Sunday, March 19. Aire will welcome you on site from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. You’ll be able to discover a wide selection of Pegboards and many accessories. You’ll also discover many setups because we’ve prepared plenty to inspire you—you’re going to love it! It’s a chance to fill up on inspiration, and we’ll be there to guide you if needed. That’s the advantage of a pop-up shop! We can meet and talk face to face, and we love that! We’re also organizing a little surprise! Thursday evening will host the shop’s opening reception, a little party for us—pretty cool, right?

Even if you’re new to the Aire world, you’re obviously very welcome. In short, it’s a chance to discover, get inspired for your own decoration, and also to meet the creators and learn more about the brand if you want. Besides being a shop, it’s a truly friendly and human moment very important to us. It’s also a unique experience for you and for us! Because the pop-up shop is an opportunity for us to creatively and originally organize to offer you a shopping experience different from big chain stores. And it’s a chance for you to support small businesses: by buying products at a pop-up event, you support local small businesses and contribute to the vitality of the local economy :)
